 All ladies are welcome.

The monthly Food Truck distribution will be held at Holly Hill Mall  this Thursday. Volunteers are asked to arrive at 8:00 a.m. No experience necessary.

The annual Fall Leaf Trip will be held on Thursday, November 2nd and is open to everyone, however space is limited. This year we are planning  to go to Unicoi State Park in Helen, Georgia where we will have lunch at the lodge. We will be stopping  at Jaemor Farms to purchase apples, fried pies, peanuts etc. We will meet at the church
at 9:00 a.m. and plan to return no later than 4:00 - 4:30 p.m. Cost of the buffet lunch is $13.95 (not including taxes, tip or drink.) A sign-up  sheet is available today on the Narthex table.

Our 2nd Sunday Breakfast speaker next month  (Nov. 12) will be Dr. Glen Farrah with "Christian Veterinarian Mission". In many parts of the world a healthy animal (pet) can literally make the difference between life and death for an entire family! Animals are a bridge  to relationship in any culture.  As relationships are built, oppor tunities are created to share the good  news of Jesus Christ!  This will be a 2nd Sunday
speaker you just won't want to miss!  Breakfast begins at 9:30 a.m. followed  by our speaker at 10:00 a.m.
Hope to see you there!

Our mission emphasis during the month of November  will be Samaritan's Purse "Operation Christmas Child". Pre-printed  shoe boxes are available this year along with gift envelopes.  The printed  shoeboxes are available today on one of the Narthex tables. The donation to send a shoebox this year is $9 per box and the deadline for reception is Sunday, Nov. 19th!
Thank you in advance for packing boxes!

Also during  the month of November, we will be participating in "Wreaths Across
America" hosted by the Dept. of Veteran Affairs. For $15 you can place a Christmas wreath in honor  or memory  of a veteran or active duty soldier at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery.  For every two wreaths sponsored, a third  wreath is donated!  Veteran's Day is on Saturday, November  11th this year, however, donations  for wreaths will
continue to be accepted until November  28th.  Please see the Narthex bulletin board
for more information.
